What is Samsara?
Samsara explained
In Buddhism Samsara can be described as a cycle of rebirth.
It’s definition is literally “perpetual wandering”. It is the beginning-less cycle of birth, existence, death.
Samsara is the unbroken chain of the Five Aggregates which constantly change
Moment to moment. These moments flow continuously one upon another through inconceivable periods of time.
A single lifetime only makes up a tiny fleeting fraction.
Most people describe Samsara as a place or a plane but Samsara is not really a place. It is much more of a state of being or series of actions.
Samsara can also be described as an addiction but when you can break the habit you can find peace.
In terms of a practical way to find this peace look no further than the Noble Eightfold Path.
